My stay here was absolutely delightful. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I left, it was nothing but a truly wonderful experience. The room was beyond fabulous! Loved my bed and amazing view. It was very very spacious compared to some rooms I stayed in Athens. The hotel has a clean modern look, beautiful on inside and out. The handsome staff were extremely attentive and helpful in every question I had. Everyone was 5 stars. I especially loved the refreshing jetted pool for a dip after a long days sightseeing. The breakfast was fantastic and the dinner blew me away. Some of the best meals I have eaten in Athens. I decently would stay here again and loved my stay here!

A true luxury experience with impeccable customer service, gorgeous facilities, a newly renovated and clean room, and an amazing breakfast in a breathtaking roof top, this stay exceeded our expectations. From the moment we stepped in, we were not only greeted but properly taken care of. The staff is wonderful- genuinely friendly and interested in ensuring that you have the best experience in Athens. The convenience of the location is amazing- everything within walking distance. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in Athens to consider this one. Thank you!

Our family had the pleasure of staying at The Athenaeum Luxury Hotel on a holiday to Athens in July. What an exceptional time we had! We arrived fresh off multiple long flights into the cool lobby, met with the friendly smiles of Manolis, Harry and Lena who accommodated our every need. Truly we cannot sing their praises enough. The team greeted us with refreshing drinks and delectable chocolates and facilitated our check-ins seamlessly. Despite the fact that we arrived early in the morning, our rooms were ready and though we were a big group of 10, everything was managed with ease. We had a few celebrations on our trip and the team did an outstanding job of helping us commemorate them, joining in with our joy and excitement. Lena was amazing at setting that up and she has our deepest gratitude. The entire team was friendly and helpful and there was no question or request too big or too small. They were also really knowledgeable when it came to guiding us on tours to take, sights to see and places to eat. The hotel lobby had so much interesting art to examine and was a warm and welcoming place to gather. The rooms themselves were clean, modern, spacious and beautifully decorated. Coming back to the hotel felt like entering an oasis of calm after a long day of exploring wonderful Athens. There was a genuine, generous hospitality here. We were welcomed with enthusiasm every time we returned (and the chocolates were always available). The team was invested in our adventures and always keen to hear what were up to. The location was perfect - about a 10/15 minute walk to Plaka and surrounded by interesting sights along the way. It was a surreal experience, walking back to the hotel eating our loukoumades and marveling at Hadrian's Arch and the Temple of Olympian Zeus along the way. Despite being at a busy intersection, we didn't hear much of the noise outside once our heads touched the pillows. The breakfast was excellent. There was a good variety for different tastes/preferences and everything was fresh and delicious. The staff upstairs incredibly helpful when we dined there for a breakfast and our last dinner. The view of the Acropolis from the restaurant was breathtaking. A "pinch yourself" kind of experience. All in all we had a world class stay here before we set sail on our cruise and despite this being our first stop on an exciting fun-filled holiday, we all felt incredibly sad to leave Athens, the hotel and the people behind.
