Rooms: 27.5/30. It's overall pretty nice, but nothing crazy. Room size is pretty average, but the bed is quite nice and there's a table for working which is great. There is a good view, and it's clean and looks quite good. Facilities and amenities: 33.5/35. There are a variety of facilities and activities, which are all relatively high-quality. The pool is relatively large, on the 4th floor meaning it looks good and there's a nice view. The gym is pretty good, has many life fitness machines (which are high quality), but a main criticism is that it's relatively hot compared to the other rooms which means I sweat a lot more and it's less comfortable to exercise. There's also a lounge, spa, sauna, and steam room. As for the activities, on the 15th of June, there was a world wellness day event where it included an ice bath, which was good. Service: 14.5/15. One of the best aspects of this hotel is that the staff are extremely attentive, helpful, and nice. I love how they can communicate quite fluently in both Thai and English, helping assist both Thais and the foreigners which are quite common in the hotel. The ratio of staff to guests is also high, meaning that it usually doesn't take long for service. Food: 9.75/10. It seems as if one of the main parts of the hotel is the food, as it's not only good but also plentiful throughout the day. For the breakfast, there's free breakfast at the rain tree cafe, which includes expensive options and high quality ingredients - much better than standard buffets, even for 5-star hotels. As for lunch, there are numerous restaurants around the hotel. A detail I probably should add is that both the Rain Tree Cafe (International Dinner Buffet) and Hashiri (Japanese Restaurant) are the 2nd and 3rd highest rated according to my rubric as of the time of writing this review. For dinner, there's not only afternoon tea but also cocktails (dinner is included in cocktails), which all taste good. Location: 9.5/10. It's close to other hotels, large malls, and is situated in the central business district of Bangkok, an affluent area with many things. Total Score: 94.75/100 (Ranked 1 out of 25 as of the time writing this review)
We hosted a 4 day conference for 90 people in this fine establishment and were so well looked after. Our every request was met with a smile and efficiency. The attention to detail was astounding and general adaptability around some of the changes we had to make was remarkable. An excellent business destination and having stayed on a day longer as a guest we were treated like gold! A very special place with special people. And a special mention to Goy our event manager! Thank you so very much!
Elegant Atmosphere with Warm, Attentive Service I recently visited this hotel to attend a seminar and was impressed the moment I arrived. The atmosphere felt luxurious yet welcoming. The staff were very service-minded and kindly guided me to the seminar room with a smile, especially since I felt a bit lost with so many events listed on the signage. The food and beverages provided throughout the day were great. During the break times, there was a nice variety of snacks and drinks available, and everything I tried tasted fresh and satisfying. For lunch, I enjoyed the international buffet, which was excellent! There was a wide selection of cuisines start from Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, European, and more. I couldn’t try everything, but every dish I chose was delicious, and I truly enjoyed each one. As for dessert, there were plenty of options, including seasonal fruits, cakes, assorted chocolates, baked goods, ice cream, and more. I personally liked them, especially the variety in textures and flavors across the different cakes. However, a quick heads-up: if you’re not a fan of sweet desserts, some may be a bit too sweet, as a few attendees at my table pointed out. Overall, it was a lovely experience with a great vibe, delicious food, and excellent service.
