Very comfortable stay. Great historical view from the balcony. Staff are wonderful. Special mention to the staff in the rooftop restaurant. Food was great. Very busy for breakfast first thing with all the people for tours but what a view of the Acropolis. Will stay again.
Excellent location and very customer service oriented staff. So glad our travel advisor recommended The Athens Hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. And the breakfast buffett has everything! If you’re not staying here, at least try to dine at the rooftop restaurant. Delicious and friendly wait staff.
The hotel is very close to all the major attractions in Athens. It's a 5-minute walk to the entrance of the Acropolis, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. You can view the Temple of Zeus just across the street. I highly recommend picking a room with a view of the Acropolis so you can enjoy the beautiful ancient Greek architecture from day to night - it gives you a different feeling. The rooftop restaurant is also very good, but remember to book it for dinner. Otherwise, you can also enjoy it for breakfast.
