The Ava Hotel Paso Robles Curio Collection by Hilton

We stayed 4 nights and received text messages from the front desk often checking in and asking how things were going! Alex at the front desk made sure we had everything we needed and told us about the amenities and helped me navigate the parking app.! the pool was closed but we were able to go to Hampton inn next door for hot tub/pool if we wanted. In-door gym had peleton, elliptical and 2 treadmills and weights...The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet! we had fridge and microwave and safe in room which were nice features!

Its entrance is beautiful with nice, clean, accommodating rooms and matching staff, especially in their restaurant. It's where my husband and I first met and visit at least annually to celebrate. There's been a lot of construction in and around the location and can be tricky for some to find, but ( obviously) not at all impossible.

The main issue that we had with this 1 BD suite was that the door did not lock. It was broken. We told the front desk and I asked the GM to personally call me. The front desk manager offered me a 30% refund, but what price would you pay to stay in an unlocked hotel room? My family was put in a security risk due to this hotel. 7/8/25 update: the general manager for the hotel, Benny, contacted me yesterday and offered me a full refund for the inconvenience and the security issue. I’m sincerely grateful for his prompt attention as well as his front desk manager who have both handled this admirably. I will likely give this hotel another chance as it isa good property.
