The Ayodya Palace

Very good hotel and well located on the beachfront. Very large, good breakfast and afternoon snack. The staff are friendly. The only thing I'd point out, and I'd advise anyone going to this hotel not to do so, was the buffet dinner with a live show and traditional dances. The show is boring and the buffet is very, very poor. Really bad. I wouldn't recommend it. Don't have this experience because you'll regret it, as I did.

Stayed here with my wife and our almost 2 year old and we had such an incredible time. The hotel itself is beautiful with a traditional Balinese feel to it and I think really well set up for families like us. It has some great pools including a children’s pool and water play area. Also has a nice kids club which includes a bunny house with 3 bunnies, as well as a little turtle area and a duck house on the lake, which our little one loved going to watch the animals and to say goodnight to them each night. We stayed in the Palace Suites and I think it was well worth the extra for the lounge and all the benefits like a la carte breakfast, proper coffee whenever you want it, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails. It wasn’t the best scones and cakes I’ve ever had, but decent enough, and I think I drank enough cocktails to easily justify the additional expense. The private pool and close access to the beach is really nice too. The beach was much nicer than the second place we stayed which was up on the north east side of Nusa Dua. There was live music each night down on the beach, as well as an outdoor cinema for kids, which was a nice touch. Finally, the friendliness and accomodating nature of the staff was possibly the best I have ever had at a hotel and it really made our experience such a memorable one. Can’t recommend this hotel enough.

We had a lovely time at Ayodya palace!! The separate dining and pool space made it special. Rata made our experience even better with his friendly and helpful persona - the dining staff in particular were amazing!! Thanks everyone .
