Friendly welcome, great room, comfortable bed and good price when booked direct. Breakfast was really good, no sloppy undercooked bacon here! Can be a bit expensive in peak season, but try finding a bargain in Bath. I stayed for work and it felt like a holiday! Probably more of a weekend away sort of place than a business hotel, but I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend from someone that's stayed in a lot of the Bath b and bs over the years.

We stayed in the Range room, very nice, but not the most comfortable bed, and the bedding itself was not good - pillows and sheets definitely need an upgrade. No air conditioning in this hotel, but a fan was provided, and our room was in the basement so it was not an issue. Tiny parking lot - you have to be an excellent driver to squeeze in this one, and particularly to get out, especially if you are leaving before everyone else. No restaurant, but many dining options nearby. Breakfast was "okay," not great - not a lot of options for one who doesn't like eggs. Small bar in the main room of the house.

Lovely room ( Garden ) overlooking the beautiful hotel garden which backs onto cricket fields and view of The Wreck . Nice period features in the room , sash windows , old fire place and high ceilings. Attractive furnishings , comfy bed and very clean. We didn’t have breakfast but staff all friendly and helpful . Lots of lovely restaurants and coffee shops , easy walking distance . Glorious Bath with all its beautiful Georgian architecture, lovely canal walks .
