The Balcony Chiang Mai Village

Spacious rooms and comfortable beds with natural light. The pool is cleaned almost every day, and the public spaces are also thoroughly cleaned daily. Grace speaks English and Thai! There's safe parking for motorcycles under the hotel so they stay dry too. Everyone is very helpful and kind. And the aircon here is great!

The Balcony is a perfect “home away from home!” We have decided to make it a long term stay for a number of reasons: large poolside rooms, free breakfast, kitchen facilities, friendly and helpful staff, great location to visit the Old City, shopping centres and head out into National Parks. We’ve made wonderful friends through fellow guests and travellers and we have a great community spirit amongst both long term and short term guests. Highly recommended for excellent rates and an all round welcoming atmosphere.

Had a lovely stay at The Balcony! The location was perfect for me, everything was a 10-15min grab ride away. I loved being just outside of the centre but having affordable and easy transport to get places. The staff here is amazing, so accommodating and respectful. The room was bigger than I thought and the bathroom was my favourite! I thoroughly enjoyed the Lanna style architecture. It was also really nice to have the big shared balcony and a smaller shared one in front of your room (even if you don’t book a room with a balcony). The little trinkets in the room, were a pleasant surprise: the robes which were so cute and functional, the beautiful slippers, the little silver bowls and wooden/rattan boxes in the bathroom The pool is a plus but I only used it once as I wasn’t too sure about the quality of the water (personal preference) There’s a small podium with a little roof on the shared terrace that provides some shade: perfect for doing some yoga or stretching during the day! (there’s a yoga mat present) They also provide small breakfast items for free in the shared ‘canteen’: yoghurt, fruit juice, toast, condiments, tea etc. I extended my stay multiple times without any problems and would definitely recommend this place to anyone 🌸 Can’t wait to come back! ps: you have to check out the Coconut Market opposite the hotel!
