Hey guys, We visited a few nights ago and it was a fantastic stay! We came from Manchester for the night and staff were more than friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. It was very clean and well maintained. It was a good mix of style for all ages and a decent location. Has a bar downstairs which is always nice. My only two notes I’d say that should change or be noted. The tap in the bathroom doesn’t have an option for cold water. It’s hot only and it was BOILING. Just wanted to watch my face with cold water and couldn’t. But not the end of the world! But the big one for me. The shower. The temperature control and duel heads was fantastic but wow it’s the smallest shower I’ve ever been in. I’m 6”1 and I had to basically shower with the curtains open and I had to switch heads depending on what I was washing. And with doing that water went all over the floor. Even my partner who is 5”3 said the shower was small. But besides those two small things. Absolutely amazing place. Will definitely come back (if there’s rooms with bigger showers haha)
Really cool boutique hotel. Lots of hip vinyl around the hotel and fridge in the room is disguised as a loud speaker. Beds comfy, shower amazing but water doesn’t drain quick enough so the shower tray is at risk of overflowing. Cold water in bathroom basin doesn’t exist. Blinds in room still let in sunlight at the sides. They need to revive how they do breakfast. It’s great watching your hot food get made by a chef but it’s ridiculous that you have to ask these overworked waiters for juices or waters. They also make you a proper coffee but lack training; a flat white doesn’t have chocolate on top and the Americano tasted weird. Actual hot food tasted good, just sort out the cold stuff. If you’re hungry maybe stick to a proper hotel buffet
Great location, cool hotel & rooms all music themed, the hotel has it's own pub with a good selection of beers. Breakfast was really good. Just don't expect to have an early night this place and area is jumping at night.
