Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The building is full of character, the rooms are stylish and comfortable, and the staff were warm and helpful. From arrival until the. End of our stay. Loved the rooftop bar and the view. Would definitely stay again! Thank you 😊
The is a nice boutique historical hotel. If you are a Marriott traveler that is used to big spaces and a huge lobby with bustling activity this is not it. We stayed two nights and the staff was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was good and convenient in the lobby. The room are older but updates so their style is the classical look and not with ton of space to store things alike drawers. The location is perfect and could get busy but it died down by 10 so you don't hear much till 7 am. Don't expect an upgrade if you used points to book the room. I think every Marriott affiliate has their own rules. Overall a great stay.
UPDATE: Be careful filling out the Bank Hotel’s reservation deposit page. I got an error page 3x when I entered my card information. The Bank Hotel confirmed that it received my funds in spite of the errors. Good thing I checked my account a few weeks later - the charge had gone through 3 separate times. I got in touch with The Bank Hotel immediately and they confirmed they had received a surplus of $609.24. They take 21 days to process refunds which is truly an inordinate amount of time for an error that is ultimately at their end. ————————-//////////——————————- I think the Bank Hotel is overrated. Great location, beautiful rooftop and warm welcome upon arrival, but otherwise you don’t get your full value for money: small and cramped rooms, limited food options (the kitchen couldn’t accommodate my dietary restrictions and simply removed food items that I can’t consume instead of substituting), and inability to process a late check out. Breakfast was lame. I was also met with unsmiling faces from Hotel staff at breakfast each morning. I think Bank needs to improve their services.
