Excellent place to stay. Some good walks from the house and some great gravel cycling routes from the house also. We really enjoyed it. A big bonus for us was being able to charge the cars on site. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. We would stay again.
The Barn at Rigg End is a fantastic location, just south of Rosedale Abbey. The accommodation is decorated and serviced to a very high standard, with three large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The upstairs main living area is very roomy, with the balcony providing stunning views across the moors - perfect for a glass of wine after our day of sightseeing! We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave, and we will definitely be back. It was perfect for our group of five walking friends, close to the scenery of the North Yorkshire Moors, with footpaths literally from the back door, and a short drive to Pickering and to Helmsley. The grounds are very well kept and there was plenty of parking for our cars. I would definitely recommend The Barn at Rigg End for anyone considering a stay in the North Yorkshire Moors.
Lovely place to stay for a nice peaceful holiday. Superb accommodation and views from balcony. Very friendly helpful hosts with useful info on surrounding area. Cant wait to go back
