The location is A+. A lot of Daylesford’s attractions are within a short walking distance. And given it’s behind a very popular cafe on a busy road, it was surprisingly quiet. Lovely garden for breakfasting in. Lots of whimsical character in the house. Is it possible to have too much character? I felt we were paying for the character when I’d have preferred an experience that wasn’t tinged with suboptimal considerations (e.g. lighting actually above the communal dining table, bedroom doors, climbing in and out of the bath tub for a shower is quite precarious). There are many plusses though. The place is beautifully heated and Daylesford gets cold. It’s pet friendly ❤️. The beds were comfy. Make sure you only go with people you know really well!
Not functional at. Hot water broke twice within a week, front door handle fell off on arrival. Found a dying bat in there
This was a dark,grotty accommodation. Rubbish bin in kitchen full of rubbish. After running shower for 10 minutes, no hot water. Door handle fell off.,and much more... Would not recommend this place to anyone. Many health and safety issues!!
