This is classed as a 4* hotel, part of the Marriott autograph collection. The hotel is a combination of an original building and a modern connected conference and tower of rooms. It meets the 4 star criteria with some minor adjustments. 1. No dedicated coffee shop. 2. No fine dining restaurant on Sunday evenings. Aside from the aforementioned, the location, facilities such as spa, fitness area and pool are excellent.

The customer service here could be better after I noticed my bill was incorrect. I called to talked to management I was referred to their accounting department. I gave the person my number and email address they said they would follow up that was a week ago. I yet to receive a follow up even after leaving a voicemail to remind them. The biggest and only negative of my dealing with this hotel but a huge one nonetheless. The hotel is beautiful and cleanly I enjoyed my stay overall. My executive suite was very spacious too. Update: After a few days, James Howard(Director) got in touch because of the my rating on my stay. He addressed the issue I was having and connected me with Ashley Everett. Someone I was trying to reach for days about my concerns and even left voicemail. Ashley and the other lady that work in the credit/accounting department at the hotel. Both are either to busy reach out to customers on their own or just lacking in the customer service department. I had a simply question should have to jump to hoop like that to get a answer. I only imagine what other customer may have to deal with on more serious issue. i recommend if you have unresolved issue ask for James Howard, since he at least follows up.

They refused to give us the suite we booked even though it was an off weekend with few guest. They put us in a downgrade and lied about a discounted room, then gave us a 10 dollar food voucher… The staff is ill trained if trained at all in customer service. All the staff in the hotel is working hard not to work, all staff is on their phones and act like you are a problem when you make them look up from the screen. There is a kiddie pool and an adult pool but no one keeps the piss pants out of the pool or hot tub, there were toddlers in diapers in the main pool… disgusting. No soap to wash your hands in any public restrooms because why would you refill it…? We had one last hope for our short stay and that was to enjoy breakfast in the morning but half of the items on the breakfast buffet were empty at 9:30am.. This hotel was once a true 5 star stay but I’d compare it with a large holiday inn with a historic facade today. We will never come back, it was one blunder of half ass after another.
