The Bauhinia

It is 10 min-walk away from Grand Theatre Station, but right across a fancy mall. Had issues navigating on Google Maps, but luckily found it through another way, so just keep that in mind. There is a language barrier if you don't speak Mandarin, but aside from that the hotel is decently modern, and the rooms are spacious. Especially the shower area!

They accepted our walk-in booking. The twin room was tidy and had adequate amenities. The service was obligatory and polite. The complimentary buffet breakfast included made it worthwhile. Perhaps a robe and would have been useful since we walked in from the nearby station in the pouring rain with little spare clothing. The only negative would be that there was a smokey odour in the room and on the floor which came through the air con vent. Overall - good value for money if you are on a tight budget but want a nice change from roughing it.

This place is terrible they have a million rules. You aren’t allowed to stay in the lobby at night playing card games. You aren’t allowed to sit with friends to talk either. All the guys at the front desk get mad over everything you do. We are Constantly getting yelled at for everything terrible. Find another place
