The Bay Resort and Restaurant

We stayed for two nights for the full moon party and can only say good things. The food was great and good portions as well! Our room was practically on the beach and we could take out the kayak which was great fun! Andy and his staff were all extremely friendly and Andy was able to give us recommendations and help us out! It is fantastic place to say , there is a very steep hill which taxis do not like to come down and is a tough walk up however Andy told us a very useful jungle cut through which dodged the hill !!

Fantastic place! Rooms with great view, beach and pool are great, the lounge plays nice music most of the time, food is good. The staff are amazing, everyone speaks great English and they helped us rent a car, book taxi and knew about the good local places. Plus ticket to half moon party was free if you stay at least three nights! Go here! 😃

The personal was great and helpful, the quality of the food was very good, lovely view, lovely pool. BUT the price was way way way too high (after making some comparisons/research on the area) for the facilities offered: no breakfast, no t.v, no hairdryer, no water-boiler, no super beaches area. You absolutely need a taxi/ motorbike to leave the place. The beach is very shallow. The hill is so so really steep. The two rocks to the left and right of the resort make it impossible to go for a walk to other beaches, unless you get soaked because the water is too high till 16:00. It is a very nice place to chill out and just hang around and spend some money on drinks and food. We were not the right guests for the hotel concept. We booked it because of the top reviews, so there must be lots of people out there looking for such an experience, not us.
