I was here for a few nights. Alvaro and his staff are doing a fantastic job. I’ve had minor problems with a room and staff was immediately available to solve the problem. Organizing trips or planning airport shuttle service went smooth, because staff is very helpful and works effectively. The beach is right there, cleanliness is on point and the beach bar is superb. Alvaro, thank you very much for your hospitality and your great support with everything. Also, send my regards to Ivan. I will definitely return some day. Can’t complain. 5/5 Best regards, Anthony
My parents bought a time share here & they pretty much got scammed in the course of the 10 years that they paid of their rooms & we have yet to be able to reach out to anybody in regards to what happened with the refunds or anything, we weren’t even aware they had closed down till we tried to book a few years ago.
The rooms are terrible. We had cockroaches and other bugs throughout, we ended up not staying and going to another hotel as a result. When we first arrived the AC in our room didn't work. We went to the beach while they worked on repairing the AC. We decided to sit by the pool which is not maintained very well and was extremely cloudy and overgrown weeds on the sides in the cracks of the concrete. When we returned the AC did not work and staff moved us to another room. In this room we had bugs everywhere. Dead cockroaches, small beetles and ants. We went to the front desk and informed them we would be leaving and staying somewhere else. The overall cleanliness of the room was poor outside of just the bugs. Walls and counters felt slimy, the floor was slick and the showers dirty. Without the bugs I would grade 3 stars on rooms, with the bugs it's 1 star. We tried to work with the management team for a refund and they refused. We booked through orbitz and they too attempted to get us refunded. We provided pictures and felt we were reasonable but the management team was unwilling to work with us, hence the poor review. The location is nice because it's on the beach but the beach is not maintained and its extremely rocky. Nice view just be prepared for the smell of rotting seaweed.
