We had a lunchtime meal for a ladies birthday afternoon, food was delicious and portion size great, lots of choice. Staff were impeccable. Atmosphere was really lovely. We sat outside first for a drink and then had our meal in the cube in the garden area. Highly recommend. This venue never disappoints
I don't normally review a hotel until I've left, but I feel safe to say this is quite fantastic. Exemplary service, great facilities and a brilliant price. They've gone out of their way to meet our demands and I couldn't be happier. A real hidden jem that is definitely better than the 3* they're listed as. Rooms could do with a bit of a spruce, but they're large and well equipped.
We turned up last-minute with 2 children & a dog - the staff couldn't have been more helpful, finding us a 2-bed apartment & a cosy, quiet table for dinner. The restaurant is deservedly popular with both locals & travellers. Thank you to everyone at the Bear!
