The Beaufort Raglan

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now as part of a large group of golfers, and it’s excellent value for money, mainly due to the quality of the breakfast and evening meals. While the rooms are fairly standard, the ones I stayed in were perfectly comfortable. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Although there was a long wait for our evening meals, it was understandable given how busy it was and the size of our group.

A fabulous meal at a quaint little pub, I think the menu could have been a bit better pulled together -fish option and more seasonal- however, the meal was cooked well and I thought that the service was good. I would recommend visiting the pub if you're in the area as the location is well placed and the village very attractive. A few minor tweaks to the menu would.make this place 5 star....

Visited here recently and unfortunately left quite disappointed, although the location is great i ordered a small plate from the starter menu and it took 35 minutes to arrive (it was a quiet weekday afternoon), about 20 minutes after ordering, a staff member told me the chef had realised they had run out of what i had ordered so they were making some more ( i would have preferred it if they had told me in the beginning they had run out and i could have ordered something else) the food eventually arrived and there was no apology for the wait or at least an offer of a complimentary drink. There was also a hair on the food. Not the best experience
