We recently had our wedding at The Belfray and from the moment we decided our venue nothing was a problem! We can’t thank them enough for everything they done from the set up to ensuring all our guests were well looked after. We couldn’t recommend this place enough! The food is of the highest of standards and for a wedding meal every guest complimented the food and what more could you want! As for the overall hotel the rooms were clean and had everything we needed and all the staff were a joy to deal with! Geraldine and her team run a tight ship and go over and above for everyone! Jason and Claire were also lovely to deal with and every single member of staff from front of house to the bar staff were so friendly and welcoming and they done everything to make everyone’s stay great! We most definitely will be regulars at the Belfray!! We honestly couldn’t have booked a better venue for our wedding!! All our guests are still talking about the beautiful venue and amazing service provided.
The carvery is absolutely fantastic. The staff couldn't do enough for us as well. The ballroom featured a great pianist playing lovely soft music and a children's entertainment area free of charge. We've also had a funeral tea here and the staff were, once again, just outstanding. It's the first place I think of when I'm looking for a wonderful home cooked carvery and great service.
We had a beautiful room that was clean, tidy and well stocked. The bathroom was also large and clean and tidy. The restaurant on site was also very good, quick and high quality. Our only criticism is that it's in the middle of nowhere so we had to drive to get around. But close enough to get into Londonderry quick enough.
