We had a two day stay for my birthday. The ambiance and history of the Belfry is every golfers haven to visit once in their life. The reception and the overall complex were magnificent, we were however disappointed with our room as it had no air-conditioning and the weekend we visited the temperatures were 30+ degrees so it led to an uncomfortable night of not much sleep. We enjoyed the courses immensely and all of the staff were welcoming and superb. We would definitely visit again, but with a room with air-conditioning for sure.
As always The Belfry is a great business venue. We had an important impromptu meeting with clients and Ali in the main bar area gave us a great price for one of the meeting rooms (which are perfect for small meetings - and impressive). We always get great service from Ali the team and always made to feel very welcome. We love it here.
Spent the day at the spa. It’s great value for money. The pool area is a little tired, as is the fire and ice experience (though this was still enjoyable). Staff on reception and in the dining room could be more engaging (looked bored). Lunch was OK (small portions but tasty). The treatments were all great, though variable depending on person delivering the treatment. All in all a good day. I understand they are upgrading the facilities
