Enjoyed a lovely stay in the Hedgehog 🦔 room at the Bell, the room was lovely, clean and perfect for my stay. I enjoyed a meal in the bar which was fantastic, great food, great selection of drinks and super friendly staff. Breakfast was ok but found the portion size quite small but other than that was nice enough. Can’t wait to stay again.
Beautiful village pub with lovely staff and a pub that loves dogs..... My only criticism was my lunch was a tad on the small side for the money paid... Otherwise really nice... I've heard the rooms are excellent.... Great service in a pretty village.... Family friendly too.
We found this pub by accident on our way to Diss. We were told that the waitress would be with us in 10 minutes to take our order we waited 20. They then said food could be up to a further 30 minutes for a sandwich and a bowl of chips. They were speedy enough to come out to take our money before the food arrived. The food was ok, but the experience was all very disappointing and we were made to feel like a lunchtime inconvenience. Wouldn't recommend.
