You know what. I don't always give a 5, but this stay was great. The rooms were a little pricey but I had an awesome time here. Plenty of walkable things to do from the hotel. Slept great, clean rooms and quiet....didn't hear a peep. If I'm back in town I will definitely be staying here. Ty

A nice property and the room was spacious with a nice bed. I give it a 3 star rating because I felt like they nickel and dimed us for basic things. For example, at much cheaper properties, they make drip coffee available very early, often all night. At this property, it's only available starting at 6:30. Now, we could purchase espresso, but at $350 a night, is that reasonable? Also, charging extra for parking, extra for breakfast, all in all I don't feel like the value was there.

We stayed here for a wedding. The wedding itself was wonderful, but the rest of the hotel sadly was not. I called twice before arriving to reserve and later confirm a crib for our room. Of course when we arrive they "have no record" of the requested crib. Good news is they have cribs available anyway. Thirty minutes later it arrives to the room, covered in crusty brown matter. We call for another crib, but after waiting another thirty minutes without anyone coming, I go downstairs to handle the matter. Eventually, a clean crib comes and is swapped for the dirty one. Later that day, we find a crushed roach embedded in the corner of the room. The breakfast, for which there is a ~$25 charge per person, is a sad and small continental buffet with terrible scrambled eggs, dry melon, and little else. It's the kind of breakfast you would be disappointed with, even if it were free. The price is not provided ahead of time unless you ask for it, and it came as a shock to the entire table. The hotel should be embarrassed to serve the breakfast at all and would be better off not offering it, whether for pay or for free. The front desk was not helpful in resolving the issues, and a complaint about the crib and breakfast resulted in attitude from the gentleman at the desk. He also claimed that the breakfast price was clearly listed on the menu. When I asked to see the menu, the other gentleman working the desk had to tell him there was no menu, which resulted in him giving me another dirty look. I waited a while to post this out of respect to the wedding couple. The wedding itself was beautiful, with delicious food and drinks and great service (besides just being a lot of fun!). It's a shame that the experience didn't extend to the rest of the hotel. Whomever is in charge of the wedding venue should be given charge of the rest of the hotel too. Credit where due, the hotel bar downstairs was also very nice and the cake and drinks were also very good. The breakfast staff were also very nice. Pictures are of other squashed roaches we saw at the hotel and a towel that came stained (I didn’t think to take a picture of the gross crib or first dead roach we saw).
