The Bivou Lijiang

Super thoughtful and caring staff made our stay and departure comfortable. The perfect location is within the gorgeous serene old town we can explore all day. It feels like a quiet sanctuary on the venue and we also enjoyed doing nothing and just lounging around looking at the greenery outside. Food and wine choices at the hotel are also great

One of the most beautiful and cosy accommodations i’ve stayed! Very thoughtful with the packaging and little items in the room to make our experience even better (eg: map drawn personally by the lady boss, a photo guide of Lijiang, handmade lip balms, even crocs in the toilet) Beautifully maintained place, with great cleanliness. Came here in the cold season but the room provided adequate warmth! Service here us great too, people are friendly, more than happy to help out. Location is also perfect! It being inside the Suhe ancient town; food and shops are just a walk out away!

The Bivou is a hidden gem in the heart of Shuhe. The staff’s warmth and attentiveness made us feel genuinely welcomed from the start. The rooms are beautifully designed, blending tradition with modern comfort, and the atmosphere is peaceful and full of charm. Breakfast was a true delight, featuring a variety of fresh, seasonal local and international dishes. We loved the range of unique experiences offered - especially the excursion to Tiger Leaping Gorge including a short trekking. A special thank you to Hwee Ling and her wonderful team for their outstanding dedication when we really needed it! This isn’t just a hotel; it’s a place that stays with you. Highly recommended!
