The Blacksmiths Clayworth

We stayed the one night in their Farrier room. Total luxury, friendliness and professionalism from check in to check out. The room was stunning, well thought out and had quality items for us to use. The menu does look extensive and it took a while to choose something but what we ended up with couldn't be faulted, absolutely delicious. The owners are super friendly and unpretentious and their hands on approach topped off a lovely stay, we shall return.

We stopped at The Blacksmiths at the beginning of March. It was a treat for my Husbands 40th, so we stayed in The Farrier for the night and WOW! The attention to detail was spot on in the room, it was clean and the decor was just to our taste couldn't fault it. We also had dinner reservations and as always (we have eaten here before) the food was delicious and reasonable for the outstanding quality. The whole atmosphere of this place is something special. The staff were all so lovely, Jonathan who ran the bar was welcoming and chatty as were the 2 lovely ladies who were front of house. The serving staff were prompt and polite. Breakfast again was amazing, cooked fresh with lots of variety and good quality coffee and orange juice. Such a special weekend we had together and it is one of new favourite places.

We went for dinner on Saturday night after recently moving to the area, we had the most fantastic steak and seafood platter! We sat outside in the courtyard with our little pooch (was like being abroad on holiday) the service, the atmosphere but most amazingly the quality of the food was outstanding! Will be back very soon.
