Stayed here half a dozen times and it’s a great experience every time. Friendly and accommodating staff, clean and well-maintained rooms, and a great onsite restaurant. The gym leaves a lot to be desired but there are alternative options nearby. Love this hotel for its proximity to the park and lake, it’s a lot quieter here than other hotels closer to the river, but still easy walking distance from plenty of attractions.

Had a great experience during my week-long stay. staff were always friendly and professional, even during peak times. TJ, the doorman, and Cole, the night manager, were exceptional. Clean and tidy rooms, a beautiful and unique property. I would definitely recommend.

Really wanted to love The Blackstone, but they couldn't follow through on basic service promises during our stay. We asked for blankets and sheets for the pull-out bed after checking in. At 10pm - six hours later - we still had nothing and had to go down, ask and then it was delivered. I specifically confirmed the night before we left that the valet would be available early. "No problem at all," they said. Well, it took over 40 minutes to get our car. Front desk had to send security to find the valet, who didn't have a radio or was asleep. The third and final strike was when I was promised that to make it right they would email me points to make up for the valet's wait time. I've heard nothing since. The staff was nice and said all the right things, but they just didn't deliver. For what you pay here, you shouldn't have to chase them down for basic stuff or empty promises. The Blackstone could be great, but they need to actually do what they say they'll do. Hope management sees this and steps up their game.
