The Blake Hotel

Exceptional service. Room was clean and cozy. Bed was comfortable. Literally my only gripe was the tv being outdated. Hard to hear with bad picture. Other than that perfect. Spent two nights in two different rooms both identical. Would recommend,but kind of pricey

I have mixed feelings about The Blake, as I overall really enjoyed our stay but was disappointed in a few things. On the positive side, the room was modern, and it was very cool having a kitchen in the room, even if we did not use it. The gym was awesome, and they have some cool equipment that you don’t usually find in hotels. On the downside, noise carries in the hotel and from the street. It was quite loud on the weekend, and we could hear cars racing down the street. It is also a bit odd not to have breakfast at the hotel, although there were places close by. I would likely stay there again as I think it is one of the better options in the area, but I wish they invested in some noise control measures.

Expensive for a hotel with no breakfast and average beds. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are also pretty with non carpeted floors! Not super kid friendly in terms of the restaurants attached but an average hotel in the rest. Valet was expensive so hopefully you can get lucky and find street parking! Least favorite part was that anyone can just get on the elevator since there is a restaurant upstairs.
