The Bloc Hotel Phuket

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a few days for her birthday, the staff must’ve seen the date on her passport because when we came back to the lobby they surprised her with a slice of cake and a candle, very very sweet of them. The service was great and welcoming, the room was nice and clean, TV had YouTube and other apps if you want to use it. The air con is blisteringly cold if it needs to be. The pool are is kind of blinding during noon time as the whole pool area is painted white. The pool itself is clean, not very deep, I think around 1 metre. The pool bar is a bit lacking, could do with a little more of a inspired deco, I don’t think many will use it as there’s a seemingly unlimited amount of alcohol establishments all around you. Over all it’s a good, affordable option for those who want a decent place to stay. Good location, Good service, No complaints.

great location, 5 min walking to bangla rd, its located on the beach, so many bars and restaurants nearby. staff really kind and friendly. only thing, the rooftop pool looks like needs maintenance. Rooms always cleaned, very comfy bed, its quiet, loved the whole experience

We only were able to stay few hours in the room before rebooking an other hotel. Receptionist was very nice and we felt welcome. But the room was smelly, very tiny, and did not reach our basic level of expectation. Cherry on the cake, they did not have us the deposit back because they said bank transfer is too expensive.
