Stayed overnight and was a perfect stay. After booking in sat and drinks outside then asked if we could book a table for 10 to eat. Set us up in a beautiful room. The food was good and the staff friendly polite and welcoming. My brother was given a complimentary drink for his birthday which was a thoughtful touch. In the morning my brother and wife joined us for breakfast and again accommodated us all to be sat together. Our rooms were clean and spacious. We would certainly recommend and come back again to dine and would stay over again. Thankyou to all the staff team for making our stay a perfect time .

This review is about the restaurant, not the inn/accommodation, which I did not use. It’s a wonderful location and great stopping place along the A59. The welcome was effusive and the service excellent. We were made to feel like valued customers. The food was well served, quickly served, well presented and delicious. Good vegetarian options. It’s very well priced. ♿️Accessibility is great, all one level, wide doors, good accessible toilet facilities.

Got to be honest. Stopped here a few years ago and it's looking tired. Rooms just need a refresh . Blackout blind would be great as curtains just don't quite cover the windows (we were upstairs) You can tell that staff might need a bit of motivation as coke can in car park Friday and still there Monday morning and bins a bit full by entrance. Breakfast was good . Didn't eat in evenings (maybe a incentive for those stopping to eat at venue might help)
