The Bocardo Hotel

Great location close to Gloucester Green Bus station and city centre sights. We knew we had to press the intercom buzzer at reception for service and waited less than 2 mins for a friendly guy to appear and check us in. Super-impressed that our room was ready even though we were early, and that tea, coffee, milk and water were included. Room was quiet and had everything we needed. Bathroom was modern with quality towels and wall-dispensers of L'Occitane toiletries. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The service I received was lovely! They provided a map with some things to do in Oxford, arrived promptly when I was checking in and out and storing my bags and didn't hesitate to answer my questions. My room was also very good for what I paid. A bit noisy at night, but that's to be expected with the location. The location was wonderful as everything was within walking distance. For what you're paying, it's definitely an excellent stay. :)

Was scared by the reviews initially, but turned out to be such a lovely stay! Perfect location, friendly staff, and a clean and spacious room with an air conditioner! Also equipped with an iron in the room so that I could use it for my shirt. And the l'occidaine gels and shampoos are true as well - highly recommended!
