The Bold Type Hotel

I chose the Bold Type, not only for its reviews, but also for its location. I knew the building all my life, as I was born literally 50m away! This was my first neighbourhood. Despite a few disappointments by the city, the hotel was by far the best choice of this trip. The staff were amazing, especially when we had an issue with the car. The rooms were prepared down to the last detail and the garden was an oasis from the outside world. The area is nice, with the old town and the ancient Roman Theatre just in front of our balcony. Highly recommended.

Bold Hotel is a true gem — stylish, elegant, and thoughtfully renovated. The building’s historical charm is perfectly preserved while the interiors showcase clean, contemporary lines and artistic touches. Every detail feels curated, creating a warm and inspiring atmosphere. The location is perfect, within walking distance of everything. The bed, pillows, and linens were incredibly comfortable, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

The hotel’s breakfast is both generous and of excellent quality, complemented by a team that is consistently courteous and helpful. The guest rooms are impeccably clean, well-maintained, and offer a peaceful, quiet environment—perfect for rest and relaxation. I would strongly recommend The Bold Hotel to anyone seeking accommodations in the area. Most key attractions and amenities are within a 15 to 25-minute walking distance. While the terrain includes some hills, they are manageable, and local taxi fares are quite reasonable, typically ranging from €4 to €8.
