Good resort - especially for the price. I would stay here again

Pros: Room and bathroom are sufficiently spaced and clean. As far as the location goes, it's as good as it gets within Khao Yai, if you have a car or bike. It was possible, although expensive, to purchase an extra bed for two nights. The restaurant has very nice view onto the pool and pond. Cons: 1. Staff tried to charge extra 300 THB for changing towels per person per day. They simply removed the towels without placing new ones, despite us not putting towels for change after the first night. Only after speaking to the manager placed new ones. 2. Even the front desk staff speaks no English - I am aware that as a traveller it would be good for me to speak the local language, but that's a bit hard when travelling the world 3. No insulation whatsoever, it's possible to see outside between the wooden logs the superior room was built from. 4. It was impossible to buy coffee or water at the restaurant at 11am because it was not breakfast time and there was a group scheduled to eat at noon. What restaurant does not allow you to purchase basic restaurant services? Fortunately there are cafes around. 5. The bathroom sink's faucet was lacking this rubber seal+filter usually placed at its opening, making it splash water uncontrollably, and the shower was randomly changing water pressure between almost none and full-on

Room is old and humid. Everything is functioning so far. Bed is a bit hard for someone who like soft and comfy. Breakfast is kind of save-cost food. Rice with 2 vegetable dishes and one spicy dried sausage. One egg stand who doesn’t know how to make a standard omelette. And extra charged is applied seriously to kids. I won’t come back again.
