⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I stayed at the Bonnington Hotel in Dublin last night and had a really lovely experience. Before arriving, I called to let them know I’d probably be checking in around midnight, and the staff were incredibly kind and reassuring – they confirmed it was absolutely fine, which made things so much easier for me. When I arrived, the check-in was smooth and the staff were just as friendly and welcoming in person. My room was spotless, and the bed was absolutely huge and incredibly comfortable – I had such a good night’s sleep. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic, with plenty of choice and everything I tried was delicious. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend the Bonnington to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay in Dublin. I’ll happily return!

We had a four night stay at this hotel, and honestly the best thing about it is the food at Croft bar! That chef there has it going on! While the rooms were OK, the constant slamming of hotel room doors made for very bumpy night. sleeps! Plus, the water in the shower would just stop running and even though I did mention it to the front desk the next day again my shower just stopped running. The location of this hotel is a little out-of-the-way, but an easy commute by bus to the city center, but I’m not sure I would return until they put soft clothes on the hotel guest room doors.

Terrible experience. I would strongly advise against staying here. Management and customer service very poor. The room that we seen online (advertised as an executive suite) were three beds, nothing more to it. Shower was broke but that was the least of it. The cost of room didn't cover breakfast - fair enough we were willing to pay but the manager stood over us while we ate. Asked for oat cappuccino and told 'you will have to have a American with oat milk, we don't make oat cappuccinos'... madness for the cost of breakfast! Cost of breakfast 17.50 per adult at 8.50 per child. Daughter was charged 17e for goggles day on arrival to find goggles in a vending machine for 10e the next morning. A substantial amount of money for one night stay all in all with zero customer service also be prepared to be rushed out the door for check out. It was a shame to have this experience as we booked for our kids confirmation - it's definitely far from family orientated
