The Boot and Shoe

We stayed here for the weekend. Room was clean, spacious and had the biggest, fluffiest bath sheets I've ever seen. The breakfast was amazing and really set us up for the day. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, the place has a genuinely lovely atmosphere. To top it off for us was that it is genuinely dog friendly. Had a lovely stay and will be going back in the autumn.

Really enjoyed my meal here. Stopped here thanks to a trip advisor suggestion on my way back from a festival. The place did not disappoint. Really friendly staff and the food was so tasty and fresh. I got the super roast as i was very much in need for some proper food haha. Loved it. Finished off the meal with a gorgeous apple, raisin and cinnamon crumble. If you are in the area then i really recommend this place.

We came to this place last year on our holidays and had high hopes as we enjoyed it last time round. This time is a total different story, we were told by a rude member of staff that no food served outside , so we sat inside to wait over 30 minutes to even get served. We just got up and walked out in the end, service is absolutely poor and the whole place needs an over haul - cob webs galore! Don’t waste your time
