The Boro Hotel

We ended up at the Boro Hotel unexpectedly after our JetBlue flight was canceled, and I’m so grateful we did! We arrived at 4:00 AM exhausted, and the staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful. They welcomed us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel has a beautiful industrial design aesthetic, and one of the things I appreciated most was the absence of carpets in the room—it made the space feel exceptionally clean and fresh. While the room could benefit from a larger bench for suitcases or a comfy chair/sofa, this is a minor suggestion and certainly doesn’t take away from the five-star experience. The restaurant downstairs is also excellent—delicious food and great ambiance. I highly recommend it. Overall, a wonderful and memorable stay. I’d gladly return to the Boro Hotel, planned or unplanned!

Stunning views of the city. Beautiful, super clean room. Amazing bar! But the most of all, the people. David, thank you so much for your kindness and care. I booked another stay and this time I’ll dine like there is no tomorrow. I can’t wait to have homemade pasta and pizza! I heard the food is divine!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights for a wedding and a little exploration. The hotel is very modern and minimalistic (I don’t mean that in a negative way). These are just two easy descriptors. The front desk help was stellar. The restaurant inside was exceptional for its pricing. There is a rooftop bar - neither of us drink, but the view is great. It’s in a safe neighborhood. There is ample street parking and a garage nearby if you crave that peace of mind. It’s only a 15 minute ride from iconic NY spots. The only thing I found lacking was a few things in the room (hand soap container, ironing board, fridge). All of these things are request-able through the front desk - which was a first for me at a hotel of this price. I would stay here again if in the area.
