We spent one night here because the area looked interesting. What a find! The location was perfect and the room was great. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. We really appreciated the room had two chairs with a small table to enjoy quiet time and coffee. We walked to everything in the area including our Portsmouth Harbor sunset cruise. Highly recommend!!

The room was well designed and very comfortable. The hotel is nicely located next to shops and restaurants. There are no staff on site at this hotel. We were surprised at how poorly our visit went due to this set up. On our check in day, we were provided a text with the door code and instructions for downloading an app for our room key. When we arrived, our electronic room key would not open our room’s door. We called the hotel phone number and were given instructions on how to access a safe on site which held room keys for all the rooms. Each key in the safe had written on it both the room number and the name of occupant. This feels like a serious security issue. We booked a room with a king bed and a double pull out sofa. Our reservation was for 2 adults and 2 children. When we got into our room, the sofa bed was not made up and there were no linens in the room for us to make up the pull out. We called the hotel number again and were told they “would try to come by to make up the pull out”, to which we insisted that our children needed a place to sleep. In the end they did come by and make up the pull out, but the check in situation was not as seamless as the hotel website describes. Lastly, we could not find anywhere in our room which showed the check out time. The room key app showed check in 4pm and check out 1pm. At 11:15am on our check out day I had a staff at our door telling us we needed to exit the room because check out is 11am. I showed her that our electronic room key showed 1pm check out. She told us that was a typo and check out was 11am. She was not at all understanding of the mix up and treated us like we were doing something wrong. We immediately packed up as quickly as possible and left the room by 11:40am. I shared this feedback with the hotel a week ago and have gotten no reply, so I am sharing it publicly.

I had high expectations reading the reviews but honestly our experience was far from good. To start with the minimum, the coffee machine was out of service multiple times, I had to fix it myself by resetting it , no sugar for the coffee and the digital key didn’t work. The worst part was the customer service, I reached out to them about the AC not working during a hot night around 11pm and they did not get back to me until the next day. The room was no equipped with a fan to at least cool down. We couldn’t sleep at all and our friends had the same issue but they at least had a fan. Well if someone would’ve gotten back to me at least it would’ve been helpful. Only The next morning a text saying that it was unacceptable that the AC did not work and they will solve this issue yet to go MIA on us once again. The digital key showed 1pm check out so I reached out to make sure that was correct. On top of everything we had experience they simply said check out is at 11 there is a typo and we are trying to fix it. No apologies whatsoever for this typo this is on top of the AC issue we had all night which they didn’t not get back to us on that they did not offer any sort of compensation at all either. They simply waited for us to check out and only asked if we can rate our experience. How dare you ask that when you were simply a horrible host. Anyway do not recommend.
