The Bower Inn

Met friends half between theirs and ours - never been to this venue, so it was a ‘shot in the dark’. There were 6 of us and we were all very pleased with our food. It was tasty, the service prompt, polite and helpful. Beers and wines were kept well and complemented the food nicely. My ploughman’s was huge and very tasty, thankfully the cheese was not bland but very tasty and strong. Desserts were all equally as nice. We had a great lunch and would most definitely return. We met a friend here for lunch as it was halfway and with 4 dogs between us we struck gold! We had a great space around the table so we and the dogs could relax. The service from the two young men was perfection with dogs having large water bowls and sausages for lunch. The menu is extensive wirh some interesting things on there ..the skin on chips had good feedback. A 10/10 experience which made the trip up the M5 worth it. Thank you

We had the most incredible wedding at this venue and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the very beginning, Lucy – our dedicated wedding planner – made the entire process seamless and stress-free. She was warm, organized, and always one step ahead, making sure every detail was perfect. The marquee was stunning – spacious, beautifully lit, and adaptable to our theme. It created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration, and our guests were full of compliments. The flow from ceremony to reception was smooth and well thought out, with every element feeling effortless thanks to the attentive staff. The following morning, we were treated to a lovely breakfast which was such a thoughtful touch. It gave us the chance to reconnect with our guests and reflect on the day in a relaxed setting. Everything was beautifully executed, and we felt so well cared for throughout. Lucy and the entire team truly went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable.
