The keyless room entry is a bad joke. It never works properly using the phone or the code. Putrid smell from our fridge that we couldn’t get rid of despite cleaning it as best we could with our disinfectant wipes. More towels needed for a 5 day stay. Location good.

Outrageously overpriced, horrible service (actually none at all), and you can hear all the noises from the street. There is also a light in the middle of the hall that you cannot turn off as it’s automatic. Very disappointing, do not recommend at all.

Cancelled on us hours before checkin time!!! Booked the three bedroom canongate apartment to stay for 4 nights. On the day of checkin as we were already on route to Edinburgh we had our accommodation cancelled on us. As we can understand a plumbing issue is not in their control, it was the actions afterwards that were the issue. We received an EMAIL - not a phone call!!! about this cancellation hours before checkin time. Lucky checked the email and replied back for them to organise a relocation for us to stay this evening. (Replied to their cancellation email 15mins after it was sent). As we were frantically searching for places to stay ourselves. We waited two hours for them to respond to our email - no response. We made the call and conveniently the man that emailed “was not in at the moment, call back in ten minutes”. When we finally managed to get ahold of him and asked him about our relocation for the 4 nights it was if he hadn’t even spent the last two hours searching for places and that he would send another email in ten minutes. The two places that he finally managed to send were nowhere near the same standard as we had booked originally. With one less room. Not in the same location. With 5/10 reviews. We called back saying this was not up to the standard that we were looking for and honestly a joke. We had to contact them about the price difference about these two new places and wasn’t something they thought about stating themselves. Having to find our own new accomodation for a four night stay in Edinburgh we sent an email asking for a full refund, expressed this massive inconvenience and how much stress it had caused us. Not only were we not compensated for this, the “sincere apology” was accompanied by an up to 10 day refund!!! If you are looking to book here you can see the price point this apartment to stay in for 4 nights. Out of pocket this amount, on top of having to pay for our own new accommodation for our holiday has come to a massive amount. Although we were looking forward to staying here and have wanted to come to Edinburgh for years this stress has quite honestly ruined a first couple of nights here. The absolutely lack of care for where we were going to stay on the day of arrival is abysmal. Terrible communication.
