The Briza Beach Resort Samui SHA Plus

Room was a great size, we got poolside access. It was a nice pool and beds were comfy. Gym wasn't good, very minimal. Staff were nice and helped us whenever we needed it, but 1 complaint is the air conditioning, despite having a control, the fan speed and temperature never changed. So it did get freezing at night but too hot if you turned it off, so they need to sort that. Apart from that, no further complaints

This hotel is not 4 star. My husband, daughter and I travelled from the Uk to have a special holiday experience. Staff are helpful and friendly however the hotel is very disappointing. On arrival our room wasn’t ready despite travelling over 24 hours to get there we were told to got to the beach bar. Please note: This hotel is set on a hill & has lots of steps to get to your room etc. Walking down it became apparent the hotel is incredibly outdated and lacks attention to detail. The sun loungers at the beach bar are dirty and so are the tables. After a 40 min wait we were shown to our room and it was like staying in a very basic accommodation. We had no wardrobe and only 7 coat hangers between 3 of us. No storage for our clothes & the plunge pool was green with stains on the curtains. We complained to reception however they do not refund - so had to make the most of a very bad situation! Breakfast in the morning is below par and not worth the money. It was incredibly disappointing for a 4 star hotel and not worth the money we paid! They did change our room, which has made our stay better, however we do not stay here during the day as the pool isn’t child friendly & the beach area is dirty.

Staff are friendly and gardens are beautiful but Not worth what I paid per night. Very disappointed. Room is big and clean but furnishings abit dated for a resort style accommodation. I booked a deluxe villa with private pool, honestly, there isn't anything deluxe about this room. view was OK but obstructed by a small tree. Buffet Breakfast is OK...gets abit boring after a few days. Main pool too far from the beach. Would be great if the pool was closer to the beach, as the beach isn't that nice, alot of rubbish in the water and you can't walk in as there is old coral, rocks etc. The beach in front of the resort isnt suitable for swimming, so you need to walk abit away from resort to swim. It's not so appealing to sit on the sun loungers they provide as they are abit old and because the beach isn't great for swimming here, you don't really want to sit here. They needed a pool here, would make it more appealing. So glad we have our own pool...its the only good thing about this resort.We asked to use the paddle boards the resort provides but they are old and broken in places and the oars are really bad, held together with tape. I think for what i paid, i could have gotten better. So disappointed as it is my last week in Thailand and I was looking forward to staying somewhere awesome. I asked to check out early but was refused a partial refund.
