The Bromley Court Hotel

Great affordable hotel within easy distance of central London. We have stayed here a number of times and have greatly enjoyed our stay - delicious breakfasts and helpful staff.

We chose this hotel because it has a quiet location and it’s reasonably close to our relatives whom we were visiting. We only stayed one night and only had breakfast. I was a little disappointed with the junior suite 243 as it has a poor outlook over a rear car park and across some rather unpleasant looking flat roofs and aircon units. However inside the room there was plenty of space, the bed was comfortable and the AC worked very well so we slept well. The bathroom was very small but adequate although the shower pressure was low. The decor of the room was grey/dark blue which although fashionable was rather gloomy. I see there are only four junior suites so perhaps others have a nicer outlook- I would certainly ask about this particularly if staying longer. The staff were all very pleasant and efficient. Food at breakfast was of good quality and the staff were helpful. I found the music was rather too loud for my taste. Overall a good stay for our purposes of having an overnight whilst visiting relatives.

I was welcomed at reception by a friendly young man ( no name badge). Upon confirming my booking ( booked 5 months ago) I paid an additional fee for adding breakfast on fir my two night stay. I was informed the hotel was full due to a wedding party, (not a problem) at least that's what I thought. I proceeded to my room, upon opening the door of room 311 the carpet was totally stained and look grubby, the fire reinforced bottom of the full length window had a crack of approximately 12" and a much smaller one, any health and safety officer would straight away inform this hotel that it isn't fit for purpose. The mattress was lumpy so it resulted in having to sleep on top of the bed. Whilst this room was advertised as a cozy twin room, it failed to mention about the lumpy mattress, cracked window, paint work peeling near the window abd the dirty stained carpet. I booked this room on the 10th February 2025 and paid £276.33 for two nights checking out on the Monday 7th July. I only wish now that I had gone elsewhere even a Premiereinn would of been able to beat this room I was given. I'll never give this hotel any repeat business. Watch out before booking abd spending your money, you just may be given a room just like the one I'm in. I decided to order room service as there menu offered a good choice. I called the extension number given for room service and told I had called reception, to that I said maybe you need to check the extension number on the menu, was put through ordered my food, when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised as it was a great Club Sandwich. I am very disappointed as I haven't been anywhere for sometime due to I'll health which is still on going, so to have come here which is a big thing for me and to be given such an awful room, disappointed is an understatement to say in the least.
