Had a delicious Sunday roast with all the trappings. One error on our part was ordering extra pigs in blankets, when the meal actually came with one anyway. Portion size was very good for the price. Lovely pub, good service, no complaints. Will definitely be back next time in Stamford.

A Standout Pub Experience. I recently visited this pub for a meal and was thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent, with the scotch egg being the best I’ve ever had. The fish finger sandwich was also a highlight, taking this classic dish to the next level. The garden at the back is a lovely spot on a sunny day, and the interior maintains a classic pub feel. Overall, I highly recommend this place for its great food and welcoming atmosphere.

I am rating this for food and drink, not rooms.... this is a lovely pub; it is similar price to the Tobie Norris, but is a little nicer. the garden area is great from April-Sept, really pleasant. They do really nice food and always have good beers. staff pleasant too. There are only 3 tables inside to sit for drinks, so it's not perfect - but they do have a large garden bar with tables. so plenty of room.
