The Bull Hotel

Definitely recommend. My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. Our room was spacious with a lot of light. The pub was a wonderful experience with food ranging from fish and chips to Sunday roast. Staff were always helpful. Fairford is a great town to walk around with public footpaths leading to the neighboring towns.

A lovely hotel with original features. We were in a room over the entrance which was quite noisy at night. Also the beer being delivered early in the morning was also noisy (as to be expected. Other guests not very considerate, allowing bedroom doors to slam shut and their suitcases noisy on the stairs. Would benefit from a sign asking patrons to be considerate when entering and leaving. Staff pleasant.

The only reason for a lower rating is the cacophony at 7am from the street cleaner, which was sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes. You might say “But the hotel has no control over that.” The Bull is the main hotel in a small town where tourism is a significant portion of the economy. It absolutely has influence with local government. The street cleaner should come on a weekday rather than peak summer weekends.
