The Bull Inn

We had a lovely romantic couples lunch for a birthday on a Monday, so the pub was about half full for lunch. We had a lovely array of dishes, and were welcomed warmly by the knowegable staff who knew what was on both the drinks and food menu, as well as what to recommend. A lovely setting to treat a loved one, with beautiful scenery around.

My family of 8 have come to stay in the beautiful Charlbury , we came to the Bull for an evening meal . On entering we found the atmosphere to be warm , friendly and charming. We individually really enjoyed our meal , the service was brilliant we felt well looked after and very at ease . We would like to express our gratitude to your amazing chef , he provided the most delicious food , my partner said it was the best burger he’d ever eaten , I thought I was going to have to drag him away at one point ! 6 of us went for lunch. The service was really good, staff very friendly and helpful. We did have some fussy diners but the staff did their best to accommodate. The weather was great, so was lovely to enjoy the sunshine. Food was really tasty, enjoyed the Korean bites. The portion sizes were big. The chicken Milanese and the lemon sole were double the size they needed to be. The meat portion could have been halved and vegetables / potatoes provided in its place. Would recommend.
