The Bulls Head Hotel

Every member of staff I came across, both in the hotel and the pub/restaurant, was incredible friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, and perfectly clean. The supplies at Reception (including REAL milk!) is a great idea, and elevates the stay above most. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very nice.

Just had a lovely 4 night stay at this hotel. Very comfortable stay and great location for the festival we attended locally. My guest friend is a vegan. Breakfast on the first morning asked for dairy free spread. Unable to provide an alternative to butter (my favourite) Dave the Manager went over and above his duties to make a visit to the local supermarket to provide a vegan option for my friend. Breakfast was lovely but disappointed no hash browns 😟. Great stay, all staff lovely!!

I think we caught them on an off day. Staff were great. Can't fault them. Waited a long time for our food despite the place being dead. When the food arrived, mine didn't, the chef had forgot to cook it apparently! Then 2 of our meals that should have been served with a pot of gravy, guess what? No gravy. My food went cold while waiting for said gravy. My burger was also supposed to be topped with roast beef, it was more like a small rump steak. Strange. Wife had the roast beef sandwich and that was what you would expect from roast beef! Daughter's pizza was very cheese heavy and the cheese seemed more cheddar than mozzarella. She didn't eat it. Overall a bit disappointing.
