The Burgess Hotel Atlanta a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Our stay was magnificent all because of the professionalism, charisma, and sensitivity of Justin Washington. We were celebrating my husbands 49th birthday and when Justin found out he did everything he could to ensure this occasion was celebrated. He went above and beyond to make sure we're happy. He exceeded our expectations. The accommodations are well-appointed but he alone made our stay special. Thank Justin for caring about your guests. We will never forget you and we will return again.

I visit Atlanta for work frequently and have been wanting to stay at the Burgess. I was not disappointed. Staff was incredibly friendly. The restaurant and bar were great (recommend the coconut pecan old fashioned) and the room was comfortable.

This is a very nice looking hotel. Additionally, our room was very clean. However, the hospitality and service levels did not match the decor. Service was rushed and inattentive. I asked for extra towels, and over two hours after asking, we had to go get the towels ourselves. I was never proactively provided an update on my request. Also, one of the front desk personnel was at the bar and he spoke very rudely to me. I don’t think his intent was to be rude, but like everyone else I encountered, he seemed rushed and in a hurry, so his comments came off as very snippy. I'm not sure I would stay here again.
