The Cakra Hotel

We only stayed one night. The hotel is nice in the inside. Large spaces and a good swimming pool. The breakfast was okay. Our room was clean and huge. It is ideal for a few days or longer

Really great place to stay and relax, has a ton of facilities like pools, 24hour gym and the food is also great. Stayed here while I was sick and it was a nice time to recover. Service is also excellent! Would be back if I ever visit the area again. EDIT: Had to come back to rewrite this review due to a recent incident. While at the 4m deep pool, we were unfortunate to have encountered a young man who was alongside us who ended up drowning despite our best efforts to save him. In the process, we were trying to perform CPR and looking for an AED to revive him, however, none of the staff available at the time were trained. This meant that they were unable to assist us, and when the ambulance arrived, none were also confident enough to follow the poor man to the hospital. As a result, a couple of my friends (guests at the hotel) were the ones who had to help the man. When asked about this, the hotel said the pool should be closed at 6pm. This incident happened around 7pm. So, where are the safety precautions in place? 1. There is no lifeguard for a 4 metre deep pool. 2. There is no enforcement of the pool closure rules. The hotel staff merely told us they thought it would be fine because we were in a big group. Is this truly justified?

Reception staff are rude and unhelpful - and FYI I can understand bahasa Indonesia so I know what you're saying. Restaurant staff are nice Room is full of mold. So many better options in Bali, thankfully this is only one night but never again.
