The Capital Zimbali

I attended a conference and loved staying here. The staff were incredible 🤩 Very friendly and accommodating. They have halaal food on offer now and the chef ensured that we were catered for. The room was luxurious and comfortable. They even have bicycles to rent. I'll have to bring my family here the next time.

We stayed at the hotel for my 50th birthday. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly from when we stepped into reception. They allowed us an early check in. Room was spacious and clean. Pool area and staff there are amazing. Cocktails by the pool were fabulous. The private access beach was stunning and perfect to watch sunrise in morning. The breakfast buffet had the most amazing choice of foods. Absolutely stunning hotel and would definitely recommend.

We’re based in Johannesburg and discovered Zimbali Capital a couple of years ago after visiting the lodge — and it’s been a regular getaway ever since. We’ve returned at least 2–3 times a year, and each visit has been consistently fantastic. During our very first stay, we were pleasantly surprised with a generous room upgrade, which set the tone for the high level of hospitality we've come to expect. The estate is child-friendly, with plenty of great restaurants to choose from and lots of activities both within and around the estate, making it ideal for families. The staff are always friendly and professional. A special shout-out to Muzi (now Manager at Poison Ivy) — it was wonderful to see him promoted since our last visit. Also, big thanks to Kelvin, who somehow remembers our favorite drinks and dishes even after several months. That kind of attention to detail makes every return feel like coming home.
