To be fully honest, I did not check reviews prior to booking this trip & was a bit nervous after I read them before I got there. Upon arrival, my friend & I were easily able to check-in, and the woman at the desk even remembered that I requested an early check-in. We did have to wait about ~20ish minutes for our room to be ready, but not too big of a deal. Once we got into the room, we discovered that our AC was not working and our room also did not have a stove, which I requested when I selected my room during booking. That being said, we discussed this with the front desk and grabbed lunch to kill time. Once we got back, we had a new room that was much much better. Working AC, the bed was very clean, we had a working stove with pots/pans/utensils. Fridge and freezer both worked as well. Overall, other than the initial issue, the experience and stay was very pleasant. I would say, you are getting what you pay for in terms of luxury, but the location of the hotel and price is definitely worth it. I would strongly consider returning !

Got to set the record straight...for the amazingly low price of lodging on the beach (one block up), this is a lovely little Old Florida Vintage Motel to stay in. Face it, when you are on Hollywood Boardwalk, why would you linger in the room anyway? Comfy clean bed, a big renovated shower, & clean fresh towels. The room was nice & cool & very quiet. I think we paid $80 on a Saturday night! Wowza! Tiki patio to lounge on. Full fridge & microwave. Americans, your standards are that of Kings. I prefer to rest comfortably with no frills & spend my money on more travel.

The filthiest, most rundown place I’ve ever stayed in. Booked it through my credit card company, and it was a complete disaster! Please don’t stay here. The mold in the bathroom shower is so thick, that you can smell it as you walk in. The bathroom sink had hair from the previous guest along with mold around it. The kitchen faucet fell off in our hand as we attempted to turn it on. The ceiling fan has not been dusted ever, so we turned it off for fear of being hit with dust while we slept. Bedside lamps don’t work, cracks, mold, and water stains are all through the ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom. We were only given one towel and washcloth, and when we ask for a second, we were told it would be brought to our room. However, we had to eventually go get it ourselves since no one showed up. don’t even think about asking for hand towels! They’re nonexistent! The towel rack above the toilet is metal, and it’s totally rusted out. There’s not one single piece of furniture in the room that isn’t beat up. The dishes in the cabinets in the Kitchen or filthy and hadn’t been washed. The list goes on and on and on! Ironically, in addition to the room rate, we were charged a $16.00 resort fee. Take my word when I say this place is anything but a resort! We brought a light and checked for bedbugs, unfortunately, we didn’t see any. We were surprised. The smoke detector has been removed and not replaced. I’m sure that’s a violation of some kind. The baseboards had not been painted recently or dusted for that matter. The list goes on and on and on! Do yourself a favor and run as fast as you can from this place!
