I recently stayed at The Bentley Brook Inn for seven days and had a wonderful time. The staff were fantastic, kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The inn itself is charming, welcoming, and well run, with a lovely pub and restaurant. Breakfasts were excellent. The menu offers a nice selection of favorites, and the kitchen was happy to make whatever you wanted. The full English was delicious, especially the sausages, which I usually don’t like, but thoroughly enjoyed here. I entertained several family and friends for lunch and dinner, and every single dish exceeded expectations. The chefs clearly know what they’re doing. I had some fantastic salmon dishes and sampled a few specials, my favorite being the gnocchi with roasted vegetables in a light curry sauce. The pub has a warm, friendly atmosphere. I especially enjoyed sitting by the patio doors in the sunshine, sipping good coffee, people-watching, and listening to the cheerful banter at the bar. As someone who is visually impaired, I really appreciated the staff’s kindness and assistance in helping me find my way around. The venue is accessible, and the team go out of their way to ensure you're comfortable. Although primarily a wedding venue, the B&B and especially the restaurant are real standouts. The location is excellent (close to Ashbourne and the Peak District), making it a perfect base for exploring or hosting visitors. The new owners are gradually refurbishing the inn, room by room. Right now, it’s full of old charm with a few well-worn edges, but the ongoing updates will no doubt elevate it further. I definitely recommend The Bentley Brook Inn.

Had meal in restaurant, absolutely lovely! Asked for curry a bit hotter, and it was perfect. Wife's steak beautifully cooked and presented. Chips really good.Good value and big portions. Service excellent, lovely dining room and spacious. Will be calling again

We had our wedding here on the 30th May. I was blown away with how much the staff did to make my day so special and everyone was saying how special the Venue and staff were. Alison decorated the room beautifully for me and Paul was with us throughout the whole day! Everyone of our guests had the best time. The wedding breakfast meal was incredible, service, presentation and flavour. Thank you to each and everyone of you for making our day so special. We literally had the BEST party! Highly recommend. Xx
