The Cavendish

Thanks to Lis and Neale for a lovely couple of nights. Our room was lovely; clean and well furnished with plenty of storage. The extras were a nice touch including the ‘Pantry’ (offering light snacks and refreshments) and ironing facilities (available on the first floor landing should you need them). Our bed was comfortable, the room was light and airy, the breakfast menu was extensive and service was excellent. All in all, we had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We stayed here in room number 3 and we were really impressed with the accommodation and the friendly hosts. The room was spacious with high ceilings, ornate coving and very comfortable bed. The room was spotless. There were plenty of amenities in the room and access to a pantry and a fridge with fresh milk. The breakfast offering was varied and we enjoyed the full English which was cooked perfectly and a really large portion as well as the continental offering. Parking was easy on the street with a permit given by the hosts. Location wise it was easy to walk to the sea front and town. We stayed for a gig at the open air theatre where we knew we were a bit further out than we would have liked (but wanted to stay here rather than some of the options closer as they didn't look as nice) so cabs were out option which were cheap around £8 each way and easy to book. We were really pleased with the whole stay and feel that the hosts made an effort to check we were ok and remembered our names when speaking with us. We would recommend staying here.

We have really enjoyed our stay here. Right from the moment Neale & Lis opened the door we were made to feel welcome. Our room was spacious and immaculate. Good quality hospitality tray with tea, coffee and hot chocolate and packets of biscuits, fresh milk which was topped up daily. Good quality toiletries in the bath room and nice large bath towels. Another nice touch was a pantry for guests which has a fridge with bottled water and juice along with snacks for guests to help themselves to. Breakfast menu had a good choice. We both had a full English breakfast with great quality produce and cooked to perfection. There was a large choice of cereals fresh fruit and yoghurt. We would highly recommend The Cavendish and will be back. You guys are amazing thank you.
