The Cayley Arms

Popped in yesterday 5 minutes before they were due to stop serving food and we were made to feel so welcome and the fact they were ready to stop serving was no issue for them. The food was absolutely amazing , my husband had the Sunday roast and the beef looked amazing. I’m vegetarian so had the mint pea risotto which was delicious. The staff and landlord were all so friendly and the landlord even came out with some pieces of meat for our dog. Highly recommended giving this wonderful place a visit if you are in the area. 👏👍🏼

I have just visited this establishment, with three friends, this evening. The welcome we received from the landlord was warm and courteous. We were served with our meals by a most friendly and helpful lady member of staff. We all agreed our meals, this evening, were delicious and of the highest standard. I would highly recommend the Cayley Arms and would like to thank them again for a most delightful evening.

My wife, two children and I went for an impromptu sunday evening meal, and arrived as the kitchen was closing. We had been out all day and the kids were hungry. Fortunately the landlord was very accommodating and, although he couldn't offer us the standard Sunday menu, he made sure we were fed a decent meal, which basically amounted to whatever was left in the kitchen; which on this occasion was roast pork and sausages - with plenty of veg. The food was fresh and delicious. Despite it being an adult orientated establishment, our two children were accommodated and treated well. Price wise, it was a little steeper than expected, but the service and quality were both very good. Thank you for looking after us.
