The Central Downtown Inn & Suites

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The full kitchen was a huge plus, making it easy to prepare meals, and the spacious living room provided plenty of comfort. The location in downtown was perfect—close to everything. The cleanliness was top-notch; everything was spotless and well-maintained. From the amenities to the service, everything was absolutely worth it. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Usually I NEVER leave a review for somewhere I haven’t stayed, but the way this hotel has handled our reservations is something I have never experienced. We have booked two rooms here for Fourth of July 2025 and one room got canceled due to some sort of renovation schedule. We called and confirmed our second room was safe and now ~2 weeks away from July 4th the hotel has cancelled our second room. The reason being, due to renovations. How the hotel thinks this is acceptable is beyond me. If you book with this hotel, just know there is no guarantee on your reservation. Good luck.

Avoid! Shady business practices! I had a reservation with this hotel for a concert at Tanglewood. I had made this reservation 6 months in advance on a 3rd party website. 6 days before we are due to arrive, I received a phone call from the hotel explaining that they are under new management and doing renovations. The electrical is not working and they are unable to rent the room for me. I asked about alternative accommodation and was told they had a sister property in Boston. When I said that won’t work because it is over 2.5 hours away, I just received empty apologies. I asked about anything in town and was told I would have to call them and book myself. They then told the 3rd party booking site that *I* canceled the reservation. Two hours later, while I was working to find something else, I discovered they were STILL booking rooms at the property on their website that would have worked for my group, BUT at a much higher rate.
